How do I tell if my RSAxxx has successfully connecting to my computer?

Watch the USB status LED when you first plug in the USB cable. See actions below:

Note: When you first connect the USB cable to a PC USB 3 port (for the first time) this light may be red for up to up to maybe one minute as the USB driver is installed on the PC.

With the driver installed and SignalVu-PC is not running:

When the USB cable is plugged into the PC, the status LED should be Red for about 1 to 2 seconds. It then should be steady green.

If the green light is on and you still cannot connect with SignalVu-PC, refer to FAQ “The Green LED is on but I cannot connect”.

With the driver installed and SignalVu-PC is running:

When the USB cable is plugged into the PC, the status LED should be Red for about 1 to 2 seconds. It then may be Green for an instant and then back to Red for another 1 to 2 seconds.

The status LED will then be flashing Green if the software is in Run mode or constant Green if the software is in Stop mode
