Arbitrary/Function Generator Offers Versatile and Convenient Solution for AM/FM Radio Test and Alignment

This application note demonstrates how two tools, the signal generator and the oscilloscope, support radio measurements with the bandwidth that radio test and measurement demands and with the comprehensive triggering features sufficient to accurately capture signals in the RF and IF sections of the radio. The application example uses an AFG3000 arbitrary/function generator that utilizes direct digital synthesis to produce virtually any waveform shape, as well as noise, signals and more.
