The TPS2000 series scope is powered by rechargeable batteries+ is a battery charger included with the scope?

The batteries are charged by the scope internally when it is connected to the AC outlet. There is an external charger available but it is not included with the scope. The part number is TPSCHG, ( External battery charger for TPS2000 Series oscilloscopes. )
