Question :
What is Clock Recovery?
Answer :
Clock recovery is the circuitry that extracts the clock from serial data streams, such as telecom signals. When clock recovery is used, an external trigger source is not needed. Clock Recovery is available as an option on most of the optical sampling modules.
The one exception is the 80C12. This module has an electrical output as a standard feature. The 80A05, clock recovery module, is recommended for clock recovery with the 80C12.
