Question :
How do I save and load a reference waveform to a TDS3000C series oscilloscope?
Answer :
There are two ways to save a reference waveform and load it into a oscilloscope. For the TDS3000C and older models you can save it to a memory device and load it back later. You can also save it directly into reference waveform memory.
Reference waveforms are very useful when comparing your current signal to a new aquired signal. You can also do measurements and such on reference waveforms. Note, its also important to save the setup file with your reference waveform so as to recall all your settings correctly. It will help you down the line when you want to remember what is going on.
