Is the AFG (Arbitrary Function Generator) in the MDO3000 field upgradable?
Answer :
Yes, the MDO3AFG is field upgradable by customers. The MDO3AFG is a "single-use" application module. This application module can enable the AFG which is already present in the instrument. After inserting the AFG app module in the MDO3000 the AFG is enabled.
The AFG app module can be removed from MDO3000 after the AFG is now enabled.
