TekScope PC Analysis Software provides seamless remote access to your oscilloscopes, enabling you to harness their full power without being physically present. Whether you're performing offline analysis on previously-saved waveform files or directly connecting to an oscilloscope for live data, TekScope PC brings flexibility and convenience to your instrument experience.

TekScope's .tss file format is a standout feature for collaboration, as it packages waveform data with all associated metadata, including measurements, annotations and scale information. This means that when you share a .tss file, your colleagues see the waveform exactly as it was captured, complete with all relevant details. Maintenance Licenses
About Tektronix Software Licensing
Maintenance for software is authorized through a maintenance license. A maintenance license extends the maintenance period for software enabling ongoing software updates. At a fraction of the price of the software itself, maintenance is the best way to stay up to date when new capability is released. The license applies to perpetual licenses only - considering subscriptions already include maintenance for the duration of the subscription period. A maintenance license should be applied on or before maintenance expiration to receive uninterrupted software updates. If maintenance does expire, it’s easy to extend the maintenance period by purchasing licenses sufficient to catch up and extend from the expiration date. Renewing your maintenance in this way provides a discount for securing updated software compared to purchasing the latest version outright.
Note: Perpetual licenses include maintenance for the first year but will require a new maintenance license every 12 months to continue to receive updates after the first year.

Features and options for TekScope PC Software provide similar capabilities to options installed on oscilloscopes, but they are independent. In order to perform pc-based analysis you need only the appropriate TekScope license. You don’t need to have the option installed on your oscilloscope. TekScope licenses do not install features on your oscilloscope and oscilloscope options do not enable advanced analysis with TekScope.
A note about legacy licenses: Legacy licenses after Version 2.4 will not be eligible to update to newer software versions.
