Question :
What is the difference between the TDS2MM and the TDS2MEM?
Answer :
The TDS2MM Communication module was originally introduced for use with the TDS200 series scopes and added FFT, RS232, GPIB and Centronix port. The TDS2MEM Communication module was originally introduced for use with the TDS1000 and TDS2000 series scopes and added a Compact Flash Drive, RS232 port and Centronix port. The TDS2MM Communication module is compatible with TDS1000 and TDS20000 series scopes, these scope come standard with FFT so the TDS2MM module is not required for FFT features.
The TDS2MEM Communication module is not compatible with the TDS200 series scopes.
Note: This FAQ is not applicable to TDS1000B and TDS2000B series scopes, as these have an integrated USB port for communications and data storage.
