Question :
I receive an error "E11208: S/W sequencer error+ exceeded waveform memory" on my AWG7000 or AWG7000B series instrument. How do I correct this?
Answer :
This error occurs when you attempt to run a waveform or sequence (usually a large waveform or sequence) that does not meet the instrument's waveform granularity requirement and is also too large to be software sequenced. To correct this, inspect the precise length of the chosen waveform or waveforms within a sequence. Make sure that each length is evenly divisible by the granularity.
AWG7000 Series: 64 sample granularity
AWG7000B Series: 4 sample granularity
Note: Granularity is doubled when Interleave is enabled.
For example, an AWG7051 attempting to output a waveform of precisely 16199999 samples will induce the error E11208. Adjusting the waveform length either down to 16199936 or up to 16200000 (both evenly divisible by 64) will prevent the error E11208 and output the waveform.
