Can the WFM series digital waveform monitors decode and display high definition closed caption data (EIA-708)?
Answer :
No. The WFM series can decode HD closed caption data (EIA-708) when it is embedded in a EIA-608 wrapper however it cannot decode EIA-708 closed caption data directly. The closed caption monitoring options available are EIA-608 (VBI), EIA-608 (ANC), and EIA-608 (708).
