Question :
Can I look at and measure an instantaneous power waveform?
Answer :
With the TPS2000's math multiply function, you can easily multiply a voltage and current waveform to obtain an instantaneous power waveform. You can independently scale this math waveform for optimized viewing. In addition, you can make power measurements at the touch of a button and in the appropriate units using the optional TPS2PWR1 power measurement and analysis package. These power measurements include true power, reactive power, phase angle, crest factor, harmonics, and switching loss, among others.
