CAN XL is a third generation of CAN bus, designed to bridge gaps between existing CAN standards and higher data-rate standards such as Automotive Ethernet. This short video shows how to set up CAN XL bus decoding on a 2, 4, 5 or 6 Series MSO oscilloscope. It shows the distinctive dual bit-rate nature of this bus and what the decoded info looks like in both a waveform view and tabular view. It finishes with an example of end-of-frame triggering.
