Tektronix PCIe 4.0 (CEM) and PCIe 5.0 (Base and CEM) Receiver Test Automation Software

Tektronix PCIe 4.0 (CEM) and PCIe 5.0 (Base and CEM) Receiver Test Automation Software is based upon the procedures described in the PCI-SIG Compliance Test Specification (CTS) document. Receiver testing involves calibrating the set-up and then proceeding with various tests as laid down in the specification. These tests are accomplished by connecting the BERT (which can produce specific PCIe test patterns) to the input of the DUT through a specialized set of fixtures and cables. The BERT can be programmed to add different amounts of random jitter, sinusoidal jitter, differential, and common mode interference along with variable signal amplitude, pre-shoot, and de-emphasis. The output of the DUT is connected to the BERT error detector to identify bit errors on the DUT Tx traffic, either during loopback or during the sweep of one of the stress parameters
