Why would I choose the P6418 over the other P6400 series probes?

Why would I choose the P6418 over the other P6400 series probes?

The P6418 probe is a general purpose probe that will attach to square pins using an eight channel header or a leadset for individual connections. Compared to our other general purpose probe, the P6417, it is less expensive but it does not have the ability to separate channels from the header. Individual connections can still be made using a leadset.
