How can I use the PQA500 to help my design and manufacturing of my equipment and components?

For example, an encoder manufacturer has a need to determine the level of impairments imposed on the video content that includes operation at different bit and compression rates, different codecs and even different frame rates or resolutions in order to verify their equipment's performance and to benchmark the results. The PQA500's outputs include DMOS, PQR and PSNR scores, frame by frame results, and corresponding difference maps and line charts to benchmark the results. While the results may or may not be visible to the human eye, the PQA500 provides a reliable tool to accurately determine the differences and level of impairments imposed.
