A Creative Solution for MIPI D-PHY Rx Validation

In this case study, Narender Singh, Staff Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, describes an innovative method using a DPO70000C Series oscilloscope and MIPI D-PHY transmitter (Tx) compliance test software to efficiently and accurately calibrate a pattern generator.  After being calibrated, the pattern generator is used for D-PHY receiver (Rx) validation. The D-PHY Tx application software automates the process and allows NXP to create eye diagrams of each lane individually and use them for reference.
