What is the difference between the 5 time trial version of an oscilloscope application such as TDSJIT3 or TDSUSB2+ and the full purchased version of the software?

Actually, there is no difference. If you have purchased that application and your Option Installation Key has enabled that application, the 5 time trial version will load as the full fledged application. The application will recognize the Option Installation Key and the 5 times limitation is removed.
