No. If the audio board is installed before the firmware is upgraded to version 2.0.3 a message will appear which says that the module is not recognized. When the new firmware is downloaded into the instrument the audio board will work correctly. If the firmware is upgraded first before the audio board is installed then the audio functions won't be available until the audio board is installed. Even without the audio board installed there is a "audio presence" message displayed on the waveform, vector, gamut, status and eye displayes. Once the audio board is installed with the version 2.0.3 firmware the audio functions are available when the instrument is turned on.
